We are looking for a Cold Store Assistant for a modern company in the horticultural sector. You will be responsible for receiving, checking and preparing young plants and cuttings, and monitoring the quality of incoming products. You will combine logistical, administrative and practical tasks in a cold working environment.

Responsibilities
- Receiving and checking incoming cuttings
- Carrying out quality checks and identifying any discrepancies
- Preparing materials and work lists for production
- Planning and monitoring the work sequence
- Supervising and instructing staff
- Carrying out administrative tasks
- Contributing ideas for improvements to the work process
- Ensuring a safe, tidy and organised working environment
What do we expect from you?
- You are able to work independently and accurately, and take responsibility
- Good communication skills
- You are flexible regarding shift work and weekend work
- You are willing to work in a cold environment
- Good command of the Dutch language; English is an advantage
- Experience in logistics or horticulture is an advantage
- Own accommodation required
